Prof. Dr. Andrea G. Fabbri
President
Andrea G. Fabbri was one of the founders of SpatialModels in 2003
and currently holds the position of president.
Andrea also holds professorships at both the University of
Milan at Bicocca and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Andrea has also held
research scientist positions from the Geological Survey of Canada, and the Canada
Centre for Remote Sensing. Andrea held a chair at the ITC (International
Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation) for over 10
years. Andrea is recognized internationally as an outstanding scientist in
the fields of spatial modeling, remote sensing, environmental and earth
sciences as evidenced by his numerous seminars, short courses, and lecture tour
invitations. His CV contains over 100 scientific publications in these
fields.
Andrea is positioning SpatialModels as the leader in spatial prediction
mapping technology, natural hazard and risk mapping, environmental
impact analysis, and resources exploration target mapping. His current
focus is on providing leadership and innovative mapping tools and
solutions for landslide hazard and risk analysis using spatial prediction
technologies. However methodologies can provide successful solutions in a
wide range of mapping problems, from mineral target mapping to ecological
impact analysis.
Yeoun-Wha Chung
Software Specialist
Yeoun-Wha Chung holds the Software Specialist position with SpatialModels Inc.
She brings over 15 years software engineering experience to SpatialModels Inc.
Prior to joining SpatialModels, she held computer software developer positions
at various companies, including M.B.Foster Associates Limited, Fulcrum Technologies
Inc., Prior Data Sciences Limited, ADGA Systems International Limited.
She has also held computer software Consultant positions working on several
innovative communication systems.
She is responsible for products meeting customers' current and future requirements.
She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Sogang University and studied
Computer Sciences at Carleton University.
